L'Original 12"

This lunchbox is a breath of fresh air in a world of disposable junk. It is well made, sturdy, and works great. It gets a lot of compliments and will last you a life time. This is much better than the cheaper alternatives out there and I highly recommend it.

Here’s the way I purchased my new 12 inch.
Some time in the early 1970’s, my father’s tin lunch pail broke after 10 years of service in the forge shop where he worked.
So he bought a new L.May 10inch box.
He retired in 1984, and I began using it.
And it is still fine, but one of the latches wore out. I when on line to find a replacement one, and found your web site.
Dad worked 8 hour shifts so the 10 inch was adequate, but I work 10 hour shifts so needed the 12 inch. Thank you making a product that will last. 50 years.

I bought these to give away. I’ve been a hard rock miner for 29 yrs and have always enjoyed coworkers stories of your lunchboxes. Most have had them for yrs and are still in good working order, just maybe not as pretty as they were, when they were new.
