Our Lunchbox is hand crafted from high grade aluminum, making it virtually indestructible, very practical, and so lightweight.
What began in Sudbury, Ontario as Leo May’s practical hobby has grown into a legacy.
Originally designed for miners, the L. May lunchbox was created to withstand the toughest environments. Leo modestly stamped each piece with a simple typeface in the top-left corner “just like the address on a letter” a detail that proudly remains today.
But it’s no longer just a lunchbox.
Decades later, it’s become a symbol of craftsmanship, resilience, and everyday pride, used not only in job sites, but in workshops, adventure vans, schoolyards, and studios. At L. May, we’re not just making lunchboxes.
